George is a male cockatiel who was found in a tree in Atlantic City. After searching for his owner for over eight months no one ever came forward to claim George.

George is hand tame but scares very easily so has become a strong flier even with clipped wings. He has been around cats and dogs and is not phased by either.

George has been disease tested for PBFD and Chlamydia. He will be adopted with his cage, disease test results, toys and food to get his forever home started. 

George is being fostered in Bloomfield, NJ and will only be adopted to a forever home within driving distance, we do not ship our birds. For the Love of Birds is a group of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA - we do not have a central location. As George is living in a volunteer's home, we only allow approved applicants to make visits.
