Blue is a very pretty 3 year old female parakeet. She has been DNA tested.
She is a quiet little girl who loves to be spoken to and interacted with.
We would like to find her a home with other birds to interact with verbally or a family that will show her lots of attention.
She very much enjoys singing with the other birds in her foster home.
She loves his millet treats and has a hearty little appetite too!
She has been known to eat seed from the palm of your hand and will step up on your hand after working with her for a bit.
Blue has been disease tested for PBFD and Chlamydia.
She will be adopted with her cage, disease test results, toys and food to get her forever home started.
Blue is being fostered in Hillsborough, NJ and will only be adopted to a forever home within driving distance.
We will NOT ship our birds.
For the Love of Birds is a group of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA - we do not have a central location.
As Blue is living in a volunteer's home, we only allow
approved applicants to make visits.
