Javier, “Javi” is a suspected male 8 year old white faced Teil. Javi does take some time to trust so developing a patient relationship with him is ideal to overcome this issue. He is handtame (again with trust) and does enjoy being around people. He has been around small children, birds, and other pets without being fazed.

Javier is being fostered in Lake Hopatcong, NJ and will only be adopted to a forever home within driving distance, we do not ship our birds. For the Love of Birds is a group of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA - we do not have a central location. As Javier is living in a volunteer's home, we only allow approved applicants to make visits.
