Baby is a 13 year old male Gold Capped / Jenday Conure hybrid. Baby enjoys spending time with his foster mom however prefers his foster dad.

Baby is a typical jenday meaning he thrives on attention and can be LOUD. Baby loves to dance and sing to music. He is also a major destroyer of shirts and enjoys remaking them into lace while he sits on a human. In his previous home he injured a toe but that does not slow him down at all. Baby is a strong flyer.

That being said, overall he’s actually pretty quiet and easy going, and he does have at least one vocabulary word that he likes to share along with plenty of chatter: it sounds like redrum but may in fact be step up. Baby can be skittish and likes to spend time sitting safely inside his cage (with the door open) or carefully holding his head with his good foot.

Baby did live with another bird his entire life however once he reached maturity, he did start to bully the other bird. Since then he has been in his own enclosure.

Baby’s ideal forever home will have a male primary caregiver and be in a single family home due to his vocal abilities.

Baby is being fostered in Chester, PA and will only be adopted to a home within driving distance; we do not ship our adoptable birds.
