Hawk and Heron are adorable, young, female Society Finches.  They have adorable little chirps and are a joy to watch play, snack on their millet and take baths in any water container they can find.  Both birds have lain eggs, but they're being managed currently with the addition of dummy finch eggs, which tell the birdie's little bodies to stop producing more eggs.  Hawk and Heron would make wonderful companion pets for an older person, someone who works longer hours out of the home or someone who doesn't have a lot of time to spend interacting one-on-one with their birds.  

Hawk and Heron are being fostered in Howell, NJ  and will only be adopted to a home within driving distance; we do not ship our adoptable birds.  For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster home throughout NJ and Eastern PA, we have no central location.  As our adoptable birds are living in volunteer homes, we only allow approved applicants to meet our birds.
